Al-fatihah
Roughly around 2 weeks before Ramadhan, Abah Taufeq, Nina's uncle passed away. It caught me at hit me big-time. Its not my 1st funeral in my 29 years of existence. And I am not really close to him except Nina and her family. But the thing is...
Death is just around the corner and it could happen to anyone, anytime. Snap! Just like that
I wud want to be closer to Allah. As close as anybody can be. The upcoming Ramadhan presents the best opportunity to do just that and hopefully to maintain the momentum after that as well. I wanna spend more time with my parents, uncles, friends.

Ali started to know this guy way back in 1992 at Sekolah Menengah Sains Selangor. He has been part of my life ever since. He left for Cambridge University in 1994 as a Petronas Scholar. Came back with a scroll landed a job as a Chemical Engineer nun jauh di sana at Kerteh, Terengganu. Dia kerja kat... as you have guessed. Kat Petronaslah mana lagi.

BTW, Effie + Qistina and Tinto + Radhi O were also present. Cuma gambar je tarak. Atif nye gambar pun takde sebab dia kat dalam incubator. Maybe we grown ups banyak kuman kot. he he. I'll try to post his photo(s) when I get one.

We went to IKEA but it was a major heartbreak for us. Not because the furnitures are lousy. Not because somebody mugged us, not because Adam went missing in that HUGE department store, Not because we don't have money.... none... nada....
Its simply because theres nothing much we can do because our house in Desa Alam is still under construction. Well This month is exactly 1 year adrift from the agreed S & P date.
Anyway we still enjoy a good trip with Adam running everywhere. Good excercise for me though. Enjoy the photos.

Alhadulillah, my kids "so far" belum ada yang pestering us to buy toys whenever we visit a toystore sampai tahap gaban baring atas lantai and all. This is because we never buy those toys on the spot.
Yeah they did asked but we simply say that this belong to someone else or we have already bought that at home. If we think it is really good, or worth buying Nina would look for it at SOGO at wrap them as gifts for the kids to open.
Everytime when were leaving a toystore, we just ask them to waive the toys bye bye. Thats about it. So far it is still working but I cannot guarantee for how long. Wahh this thing pun nak kena ada disclaimer.

Ampade, had the best birthday in 31 years of his life when our Arabian family from Jeddah came down to celebrate as well. It was at Insaf Restaurant, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
Uncle Izzu and his bro Uncle Uzzi (I can't remember his name at the moment), are the sons of Tok Daud. Mama's uncle. He left for Jeddah in the late 60s and eventually settled down, married and have his families there. He was working with Citibank Saudi Arabia and retired as a high ranking personnel. Most of his children are workind in the aviation industry, be it the engineering side or the customer service side.
Uncle Izzu and Uncle Uzzi brought wives and daughters as well but we are not allowed to +peekture+ them. Uh oh... another bombshell dropped that nite. Farhan and Lin is going to have a baby! OK Han... we are happy 4 U!!

She's leaving on a jet plane.......

This is what Hanim smsed me on the 14th June when I said " omigod Hanim. UR leaving in 2 weeks time.....
"Yeah.. cept kn. dint realize it bro till this week..~sigh"
Well shes leaving alrite. On the jet plane it is. On a Malaysia Airlines airbus A320 to be exact. Not her 1st time but sure will be the most emotional ones. To make matters worse, she might be staying in Geelong for the whole of 2 years before we might be seeing each other again. Yeah I kno, the technology is on our side. There is Skype, YM, emails, sms or even MMS. but i wudn't be the same.We want Hanim back in flesh and in a flash.
Enjoy the last moments before our 6th siblings and the smallest of us all left the more macho bros and sis at home. Mama looked happy and proud albeit having to see she go. Abah cud not disguise what he felt coz it was all over his face.
The rest of the cousins, nephew and nieces.... they are just happy to be there at KLIA. Who cares Aunty Anem is flying. Enjoy the photos after the jump.
Ampade did mention to me a few weeks after Hanim left, that he made a big mistake allowing Hanim to go coz he wants all his sibling dok kat bawah ketiak dia. The macho man has spoken!!!

Hanim is leaving to Deakin Uni in Geelong, OZ to further her studies in accountancy. So the family presented a surprise karaoke at Klang Parade the nite before her flight.
We even prepared another surprise for her during a karaoke. Whoa... a surprise within a surprise. Isn't that a combo surprise or what. She sang "Leaving on a jet plane" semorang sedih except me. Well i just cried in the inside.
Hanim is kinda close to us as she is staying with us for the past 1 year already. So its kile my eldest daughter leaving the nest as well uhuk uhuk uhuk
